Unreal Engine 4 and Space Invaders

At the beginning of the summer I was wanting to create Space Invaders in a month. The problem with this was that I needed to learn OpenGL. I don't particularly want to be a graphics programmer, so while I'm sure it will be a useful thing to learn, it's currently in the way of me creating and learning the things that I'm interested in.

Unreal is now free for people to download and use, and it's used by a lot of big companies for their games, so it's not only useful for someone who doesn't know OpenGL, but also in the near future if the company that hires me uses it. I'm starting to work through some of the tutorials to understand the basics, then I'm going to hop in and see if I can't get Space Invaders finished finally.
